About the Event:

The Eight Pieces of Brocade was developed 1000 years ago and is a popular QiGong practice consisting of 8 exercises designed to enhance physical and mental health. Exercises include Wise Owl Gazes Backwards, Pressing up to the Heavens, and Drawing the Bow

Practicing these exercises can improve energy, balance, flexibility and overall wellbeing.  the are associated with reduced blood pressure, alleviating back pain, anxiety and improving sleep.

The practice combines mindful movements, meditation, and breathing techniques to promote holistic health.  the exercises are easy, safe and perfect for everyone no matter their age or health status.

There are no pre-requisites. Register to attend in person or on Zoom.  The program is six - 1 hour classes.  Recordings are available for all participants for practice.

The classes are January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5, 12
