About Us:

DIVERSITY DRUM CIRCLES

Carol Edwards is an Integrative Community Drum Circle (ICDC) Facilitator operating Diversity Drum Circles in Winnipeg, southern Manitoba and beyond!
Carol’s ambition is to create an inclusive drum circle community and to share the knowledge that drumming is scientifically proven to boost brain health, reduce stress, aid with depression and anxiety, and facilitates connecting people in community. Plus, drum circles are just whole lot of fun and in today’s ever stressful world we need a whole lot more opportunities to have fun!

At Diversity, people of all ages, abilities and cultures have a seat at the circle. Since human culture began, the drum has been a means of communication, healing, and celebration. The ICDC program incorporates all these, by utilizing three different kinds of drums, and a variety of percussion instruments, originating in cultures and regions from around the word.

In the modern-day drum circle, drumming is a focused activity that unities and nurtures our mind, body and spirit. When we drum, we are grounded in the present moment and when we drum with others, we connect with the group and bond as a community.

Diversity drum circles offer a safe environment for everyone to express themselves and connect with their creative side. Carol Facilitates community events, corporate team building workshops and health and wellness programs both in-person and online. She also offers personal healing sessions, incorporating the drum, reiki healing, meditation, and other tools to re-connect with inner wisdom for healing and enlightenment.
